Overview
The Wanakè 30' is the ideal way to gain some altitude for the first time. With an instructor pilot beside you, you fly over the islets of Le Robert and Le François, then the south coast of Martinique. Depending on what you prefer, choose a discovery flight, a first flight or an intro flying lesson (instruction). Briefing, flight and debriefing follow one another, for an experience of about 45 minutes in all.
Same price for all three: you pick one when you book.
The route
Takeoff from Le Lamentin airport, across the island to the Atlantic coast, then half an hour over the Baie du Robert (Robert Bay), Le François and the south coast. The exact route is set at the briefing, depending on the day's wind.
What you will see
The lagoon from above: shades of turquoise that give away the depth, white-sand shallows in the middle of the water and the reef breaking the swell offshore. A good complement to a boat trip.
The weather and your flight
Half an hour fits easily into a window of good weather. The takeoff time is set with the pilot after booking; if the weather rules out flying, the flight is rescheduled at no cost or refunded.
